 -  Author Availability.  How many times have you read an anthology or a magazine and found a really good story and two days later, you couldn't remember the author's name?  Happens to us all the time.  That's why we publish collections.  So, if you see a story you like and you want more by that same writer, there will be several more right there.  Instantly.

-  New Authors:  Some readers might only want to read stories by the most time-tested of authors; other readers might want to look for the next Stephen King among the less well known.  So search away--remember, the samples are free!  

For the Writers

 -  $$$  Our goal is to make you more money, find you more readers, and treat you better than any other publication.

 -  We post and sell previously-published stories.  There are hundreds of thousands of horror fans out there that deserve to have a look at that old gem on your harddrive. Just make sure its legal for us to put it on the web before you send it in.  

 -  Unpublished stories.  Of course we'll publish these too.

 -  Flexibility.  If you decide that this website isn't selling enough of your stories, let us know and we'll immediately pull them.  Any money that you've earned will be sent to you as soon as possible.

 -  The Quickest Response.  Our goal is to respond to all submissions within 24 hours of receipt.  Anything less and we owe you a beer.  No more waiting six months or more for your story to work its way up through the slush pile.

 -  Exposure.  None of this is going to work unless we have tons of readers.  We have ten marketing initiatives hitting the streets right now (can't give away too many secrets on this page) and there's more to come.  We're hoping that some sort of synergy will occur if enough writers become enthusiastic enough about this program and begin to spread the word.

-  Help.  And, if your stories aren't selling as quickly as you'd like, there is all sorts of on-line help for you.  It does no one any good if you're not able to sell your stories.
